Synopsis of film

Who will save Earth?

"Planetary Defense" meets with both the scientific and military communities to study our options to mitigate an impact from asteroids and comets, collectively known as NEO's (Near Earth Objects). "Civilization is ill prepared for the inevitable. It's not if an impact will happen with the Earth, it's when!"

Mark Moidel's "Planetary Defense" - nominated for a '2008 Sir Arthur Clarke Award' (The British 'Oscars<sup>(r)</sup>' for Space Achievements) alongside "Ron Howard's In the Shadow of the Moon". Fellow nominees include Stephen Hawking and Sir Richard Branson.

Just in time for the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Lunar Landing, "The Apollo Years" reviews all the Apollo missions, back-to-back.   This is an historical document and documentary.   Using only archival film and the authentic communications between the Apollo capsules and Mission Control.   There is no narration; there is some music by the "Cud Chewing Cows" (aka 3C - www.CudChewingCows.com ), no fancy Graphics, nothing but what happened, what was said, when and by whom.
